Know Thy Infinite Self is an exhibition taking place on a dedicated online platform, a Pavilion, hosted by artist-curator Dr. Lila Moore and Cybernetic Futures for the 7th edition of The Wrong Biennale. This edition is dedicated to artistically exploring the transformative potential of AI-generated art and video.
Exhibition Concept: Know Thy Infinite Self
Know Thy Infinite Self exhibition explores the concept of the Self and its dynamic relationship with AI. This collaboration challenges the unity and integrity of individual human beings while unveiling new opportunities to experience themselves as boundless, limitless, transpersonal entities. It also triggers the creation of new versions of the individual Self and other forms or spiritual beings as companions, apparitions, or doubles.
The phrase Know Thy Self recalls the ancient divination at Delphi, evoking timeless journeys of self-discovery woven through themes of spirituality, mythology, psychology, and philosophy. Know Thyself is also a call to embark on a journey towards the within, inviting artists interested in themes of identity and gender, Self and Other.
The notion of the Infinite Self inspires a dive into the tech-noetic and imaginal realms of the psyche and consciousness, with AI as an aesthetic catalyst that incites transformative evolution. Similar to the eye-opening insights of the Delphic oracle, the artists and all seekers of truth may ponder on shifts in consciousness, identity, or perception. Rather than remaining static or linear, this envisioned evolution opens the door to new expressions of selfhood, consciousness, and even alternative life forms—fundamentally expanding what it means to "be" a Self.
Eligibility
Artists from all over the world are invited to participate. However, The Wrong Biennale is a juried exhibition, and submitted artworks must adhere to the 7th edition’s theme. All submissions must utilize artificial intelligence as a tool in their development. We are not interested in superficial engagement with AI but rather in the artist’s agency within the creative process. Artworks that do not align with this theme will not be included, regardless of their artistic merit
We welcome a wide range of formats, including images, videos, interactive media, sound, text, and immersive experiences, provided AI plays a role in the creation process.
The Wrong is an Art Biennale, not an art fair or NFT marketplace. The Infinite Self Pavilion will not accept crypto wallet requests, pay-per-view links, shop links, or other intrusive practices.
The Infinite Self Pavilion seeks artworks that are user-friendly, easy to view, and embedded online for a seamless, one-click-away experience.
How to Apply

Important Dates
First Cycle Deadline: Now – February 15th, 2025
Up to 10 artists will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.
November 1st, 2025: Official opening of the 7th edition of The Wrong Biennale, featuring all selected pavilions and embassies.
